His pedigree is impeccable; he was sired by Smart Chic Olena and out of the great mare San O lenita by Tenino San. San O Lenita's offspring have excelled in competition, including Chic Please's full siblings Artistchic, Fantaschic and Smart Hippie Chic , as well as his half brother, 1992 NRCHA Open Snaffle Bit Futurity Champion Mr San Olen.
