Coming three in May 2009, Dragoon Scottish Tartan AKA Fergus has World & Nat'l champions on both sides of his papers. His half siblings are winning when shown if not put straight into the breeding shed first. Fergus has enough white to be showy & enough brains to be a calm, mellow stallion prospect. Will mature 14.3 to 15 hands, his dam is 15.1 and his sire is 14.3. Has been handled daily since birth by a horse trainer who works at home. Fergus already loads and hauls, wears a snaffle bit and bitting rig as well as a saddle, but too young to ride yet, stands quietly for sacking out, wears towels on his head and over his eyes, touch anywhere and a very kind boy with ton of manners. This one hugs people he is that sweet and loves working for a living. His dam is a Res. Natl Champion Cl. Pleasure Driving mare & 7th in the Worlds, many Class A wins. His sire was never shown & went straight to breeding although he has ben producing consistently pretty foals. We have way too many stallions here or Fergus would not leave. We are looking for a show and breeding home for this pretty boy if possible. He has brains, looks and kind disposition so let us know if a pretty stallion is needed for your barn. Video & many photos of this cute boy under our 2006 Foals page. We will trade him for a proven, registered Morgan broodmare over 15.1 hands and under age 12. Please send photos of the mare, her papers and photos of her foals. Thanks. We are standing 1 black Morgan in 2009 to the public at an intro fee. Stud fees start at just $500. We have other horses for sale too from us and broke ones each summer from customers.
